It was helpful to have her come to my home after my baby was born, as getting out was tough. She was comfortable to work with and provided lots of peace of mind. I had read a lot of content prior to having my baby but she provided helpful insights into breastfeeding my baby with her specific needs. Even better, she accepted my insurance through The Lactation Network (TLN). I 10/10 recommend Jess and applying for TLN BEFORE you give birth. All I had to do was schedule the appointment when I got home from the hospital, and that’s probably all I was up for after birthing. My first consult with Jess I was 3 weeks postpartum and struggling hard with breastfeeding physically and mentally. After that first visit I felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. Jess was fantastic and I highly recommend her. When I first consulted her, my baby was about 3 months old and still using the nipple shield to breast feed. She gave some tips on how to get a better latch and move away from the shield, and we were able to do so within a month. I will forever to be thankful to her guidance on that! She is kind and caring, as well as incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Even as a second time mom, I needed support to help establish a comfortable breastfeeding relationship. Jess provided help abundantly, through in-person vists where she could evaluate baby's latch and sucking ability and get an exact measurement on how much milk they were drinking. As well as text and email support for all my questions along the way, and recommendations she gave me for other care providers (chiropractor and pediatric dentist).
